PRICES & DISCOUNTS ...

All prices and details on this site were correct at the time of publishing, ommitting typing errors! Prices do change from time to time and these will be updated as soon as possible. If in the meantime there is to be any difference to an order, then you will be notified by phone or email before processing.

As you browse through the shop, you will see prices within product sections as "cleanbikes discount deducted at checkout".

Our aim is and always has been to promote the biketrial sport, providing easy access to Monty bikes and bike parts at a more affordable cost. Cleanbikes was the first on-line trials-specific store opening in October 2001.

The "cleanbikes discount" will vary from time to time, hence all prices have been noted at the full RRP price. All discounts are at the time of purchase and will be deducted at the checkout.

Prices on the site do not include delivery charge which is added at checkout. If you are ordering more than one item, it can sometimes work out cheaper to order by phone as then we can charge delivery price of parcel weight instead of for the individual items.

ORDERING FROM US ...

From a trials competition ... Cleanbikes is primarily a mail order service, but, because we attend many trials anyway, we always take along emergency supplies to help riders out! If there is anything you specifically want to collect from us at a trial, it's wise to give us a call to make sure we take it with us.

From our offices ... We are based near Skipton in North Yorkshire and visitors wanting to view bikes or collect parts are welcome by arrangement.

By phone ... Give us a call on 01729 851 350. You can usually get us between 10.00am till 6.00pm on most days, you can try us outside those times as we're usually about. But if you do get an answerphone message it only means we're talking to some else or have slipped to the post office! Please do leave your name and number and we will give you a call back as soon as possible. On Sundays, we could be at a trial - don't be surprised if you get transferred to a mobile whilst we're busy observing or working out the scores!

On-line ... Order from us on-line in safety through our secure server. Simply view the items throught this website and click on the "Add to basket" button to add items to your shopping basket. On-line ordering via the shopping basket is for UK customers only due to the possible additional shipping costs outside the UK. If you wish to order goods to be sent outside the UK please contact us by email on info@cleanbikes.co.uk to verify item availability and precise shipping costs.

PAYMENT

We can accept almost all debit and credit cards by telephone or on-line with the exception of Electron.

If you wish to pay by Electron, please place your order through our on-line system, using the 'pay by phone' method. Payment should then be sent using the PayPal "send money" option to our PayPal account "info@cleanbikes.co.uk".

If you wish, you may pay directly into our bank account. Details will be stated at checkout.

DELIVERY

Orders received before 3.00pm (often later) on Monday to Friday or by 10.30am on Saturday will be mailed that day (unless otherwise notified). Orders received over Bank Holiday weekends will be mailed on the first possible day.

Orders are always sent by First Class mail, special delivery, or by courier, so you should get your parcel on the next working day. (According to Royal Mail, 90+% of First Class mail arrives the day after posting.) Wheels, tyres and rims, because of the size and/or weight may need to be despatched by other methods, but should still be with you in 2-3 days.

We always obtain a proof of posting for your parcel. This however does not insure you for loss of your parcel by the carrier. In over six years of trading, they have only lost two of our parcels (which turned up very late)! However, you may request your parcel to be sent by special delivery, which will give extra insurance for a small additional fee in case of loss or damage. Special Delivery also guarantees next working day delivery - please ask when ordering.

Any delay due to stock shortage will be notified by phone or email. Please remember to add your phone number to your order as we do often have emails bounce back to us as 'undelivered', and sometimes directory enquiries report phone numbers as being ex-directory!

RETURNS / CANCELLATION / DAMAGED GOODS

If there is a problem with your product(s), please do give us a call to discuss. We may be able to help over the phone and save unecessary postage.

If it is necessary to return any unused goods to us for exchange or refund, please note the following:-

Goods returned must be in the original packaging, with labels still attached.
Goods must be in a new condition, unused and unmarked.
Goods must be received by us within ten days of receipt by the customer.
Goods must have the accompanying receipt and a note giving the reason for return.
Goods returned are subject to a minimum processing charge of £3.50.
Costs incurred in posting the returned item are not refundable.
Goods listed as Special Offer, Discounted, or reduced price are not refundable, but may be exchanged.
If any goods are damaged in the mail it is important to keep all packaging and to notify us immediately on the day of receipt.

*Remember, if any service tries to deliver a damaged parcel, you should note when signing that the parcel was damaged on receipt - if you don't, then this will invalidate the insurance!

WARRANTY & FAULTY GOODS ...

All brand new bikes come with 6 months warranty against manufacturing defect on frame and forks.
Frames and forks sold as new parts come with 3 months manufacturers' warranty for manufacturing defects.
Other trials parts are not normally warrantied because of the nature of the trials sport. However, if a breakage appears to be a manufacturing fault, please contact us. We will do our utmost to help.

If return is thought necessary, please note the following:-
Goods must be in a clean condition.
Goods must have an accompanying receipt and an explanation of the reason for return.
Costs incurred in posting the returned item are not refundable.
