BikeTrial Events

At cleanbikes we spend a lot of our time organising Biketrial events, both for our local club, and for National events.  We first became involved back in 1998 when Chris first started riding trials.  Barbara soon became involved in helping, and was responsible for helping set up the TykeTrial Club and their first ever website.  The club grew dramatically until in 2001 it had over 280 members with the entry for events closing at 130 with a waiting list !  Today, TykeTrial has around 200 members with 88 riders at the first event of 2008.

In 2001 Barbara became involved in helping at a National level as Treasurer, then Chairman, then Secretary of BikeTrial UK, and has been responsible for their website ever since.  In 2005, Barbara was the key organiser of the BIU World BikeTrial Championship held at Addingham Moorside in Yorkshire; it was an amazing event, with the President of the BIU proclaiming it "99.9%" perfect.  The BikeTrial UK Federation National Championship events were extremely successful during 2007 with 181 riders taking part in the 6 events.
